Dirty Hit
Dirty Hit is a British independent record label known for championing artist individuality. Founded in February 2010 by Jamie Oborne, Chuck Waite, Brian Smith and former England footballer Ugo Ehiogu, the London-based company was built around developing and nurturing homegrown artists.
The label’s roster has included artists such as beabadoobee, Bleachers, King Isis, Tommy WÁ, Saya Gray, Been Stellar, Skullcrusher and Pretty Sick, reflecting an international outlook alongside its British roots. In 2019, Complex wrote that Dirty Hit had become known for its support of artists’ individuality.
Dirty Hit expanded beyond London in 2020, opening operations in Los Angeles, Sydney and Tokyo. Its work spans a growing network of artists while retaining the independent label model established by its founders.
