Delta9 Recordings
Delta9 Recordings grew out of a drum and bass promotion effort that began in northern Italy in 2003, moving from club events to free parties with its own sound system. Established as a label in 2012, it operates between Berlin, Germany, and Bergamo, Italy.
The label focuses on dark, minimal drum and bass and techstep. Its events have brought international artists including Mefjus, COOH, Dub Elements, DJ Vapour, Budoka, Impak and Fexomat to Italy for the first time, while also hosting producers such as Audio, Allied, Jade, Maztek and Hallucinator. Releases by artists including Qua Rush, C-DU, Ronni, Simple Souls, Manikin, Telm & Wilson, KRÆK and Hystatus reflect its connection to the tougher, stripped-back end of drum and bass.
