BPitch Control
BPitch Control is the Berlin label founded by electronic musician and producer Ellen Allien, whose own work connects dance-floor techno with IDM and experimental electronic music. The label reflects Allien’s close relationship with Berlin: her album Stadtkind was dedicated to the city, and she has cited the culture of reunified Berlin as a central inspiration.
Its roster links Allien’s productions with artists including Sarah Sommers, Alex Wilcox, Boston 168, Ash Code, Tigerhead, Under Black Helmet and Rosa Anschütz. Across those names, BPitch Control is associated with electronic music that keeps techno at its core while allowing room for darker, more exploratory and vocal-led work.
Allien records and performs in German and English, and BPitch Control stands as part of her wider Berlin-based musical practice, bringing together club-focused rhythm, experimental detail and the city’s enduring electronic culture.
