Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom, son of the English music theorist and conductor Edward Higginbottom, developed an interest in electronic music during his early teens by borrowing cassette tapes from his older brother.
Orlando began dabbling in music production until 2004, when he adopted the alias Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. He described the name as
"Something that couldn’t be cool, couldn’t be put into some kind of scene that gets hip for six months and then falls out of fashion."
Five years later, in 2009, Orlando released his first EP, "All In One Sixty Dancehalls," under Joe Goddard’s record label, Greco-Roman. His debut album, "Trouble," followed in 2012.
