Theo Parrish

Theo Parrish is an American DJ and record producer based in Detroit, Michigan, known for genre-spanning DJ sets and unconventional house productions. His work sits within Detroit’s dance-music continuum while drawing on a wide range of sounds, and he is often associated with Detroit house, Detroit techno, and jazz house.

Parrish is the owner of the Sound Signature record label, a platform closely linked to his output as a producer. He is also a member of the group 3 Chairs, a collaborative project that places him within a broader network of Detroit artists as both a solo figure and a group participant.

Born in 1972 in Washington, D.C., Parrish later became identified with Detroit’s music community, where he is based.
