Shinichi Atobe
Atobe Shinichi is an electronic music producer based in Saitama, Japan. Much of Atobe's biography remains unknown. His first release was "Ship-Scope" in 2001, after which he went AWOL for 13 years until Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty tracked him down in 2014 in Japan. They discovered he had other unreleased projects and convinced him to release "Butterfly Effect" on DDS. In 2016, he also released "World" on DDS. Daniel Jacques managed to contact Atobe via email after several attempts in 2010, which were unanswered until Jacques emailed him again in 2016, asking him to remix a track of his upcoming EP. Instead, Atobe provided an EP titled "Rebuild Mix 1.2.3.," which was then released on Jadac Recordings in 2016.
"Ship-Scope" was remastered and repressed in 2015.
