Serge Devant

Serge Devant is a house DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York, whose work has also been associated with trance and progressive styles. He has released music under several name variations, including S. Devant, SD, Serge, Serge Devants, and Serge Deviant.

Devant grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where he received formal classical training. He studied violin for two years and piano for eight years at the Music School of Saint Petersburg. That early background in instrumental study preceded his later focus on electronic music production and DJing.

In recorded credits, Devant is documented in the role of producer. His releases have appeared on labels including This Moment and Crosstown Rebels, aligning his output with contemporary house music, including organic house.
