Scorpions
Scorpions is a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band that originated in Hannover, Germany. The group was established in 1965 and released their debut album “Lonesome Crow” in 1972. Throughout the 70s, they released five more albums, some of which are regarded as their finest, but their major breakthrough came in the 80s with albums like “Blackout” and “Love at First Sting.” During this decade, tracks like “The Zoo,” “Blackout,” “No One Like You,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” and “Still Loving You” became chart hits and overall classics for the band. The 90s began with their eleventh album “Crazy World,” featuring classics like “Hit Between the Eyes,” “Send Me an Angel,” and “Wind of Change” (the latter became a symbol of the end of the Cold War era). Subsequently, they released eight more albums with successful tours around the globe. With a career spanning over 50 years, they are considered one of the most important and influential Heavy Metal bands ever.
