Red Axes

Red Axes is an Israeli electronic and indie music duo formed in 2010 by Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi. Based in Tel Aviv, the pair are known for an eclectic approach that draws on a wide range of club and rock traditions, moving between disco and house as readily as garage rock, post-punk, psychedelic rock, and techno.

Working as a two-person project, Sadovnik and Arzi have released music under the Red Axes name and have also been credited in variant forms, including “Red Axes (Dori Sadovnik And Niv Arzi).” Their catalog is often associated with float house in platform tagging, but the duo’s own description in reference material emphasizes stylistic breadth rather than a single lane. That mix of influences places Red Axes in a space where dancefloor structures and band-oriented textures can coexist, with the duo shifting between electronic production and indie-derived sensibilities.
