Pablo’s Eye began working as a collective in 1989, built as a flexible project open to additional participants. Based in Brussels and headed by producer and founder member Axel Libeert, the group brings together musicians and sound artists around ambient, experimental electronic music, trip hop and tribal ambient. Making music was central to the project, but its members also placed emphasis on a shared artistic attitude. Among its regular contributors were vocalist Marie Mandi, guitarist Thierry Royo, violinist Patrick Hanappier and writer Richard Skinner.
