Pablo's Eye

Pablo’s Eye is an international music collective associated with tribal ambient music. The project has operated as a flexible collaboration since 1989, with an open structure in which additional participants have been welcomed as part of the group’s working method.

The collective is headed by producer and founder member Axel Libeert, who is based in Brussels. Over time, Pablo’s Eye has involved a shifting roster of musicians and contributors, including Dirk Wachtelaer, Patrick Hanappier, Ludo Lapauw, Thierry Royo, Marie Mandi, Laurent De Jaegher, and Richard Skinner. The group has also used the abbreviated name P.E.

In descriptions of the project’s approach, Pablo’s Eye has emphasized a shared artistic attitude alongside the act of making music, reflecting its collective format and the way it incorporates different roles and disciplines. Members and collaborators have been credited for distinct contributions, including voice, guitar, violin, sound processing, audio creation, and text.
