Oliver Tree Nickell (Born June 29, 1993) is a vocalist, producer, and accomplished scooter rider from Santa Cruz, California. On March 27, 2016, Oliver released a Vine video titled "I'm Turbo," marking the debut of his Turbo persona.

Before his viral hit “When I’m Down,” an upbeat dance track with collaborator Whethan, he released music under the name Tree, which led to a contract with Atlantic Records in 2017.

The genre-defying Alien Boy EP, offering a first look at Oliver’s potential, followed the next year and accumulated tens of millions of streams. Oliver’s debut album, Ugly is Beautiful, released on July 17, achieved remarkable attention, reaching the top 3 on the iTunes charts within 24 hours of its release.

He followed up with a Deluxe edition of Ugly is Beautiful released almost a year later on May 28th, 2021.
