Nothing But Thieves
Nothing But Thieves reached the top of the UK Albums Chart with their fourth studio album, Dead Club City, released in June 2023. Formed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, in 2012, the English rock band comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake and drummer James Price.
The group signed with RCA Records in 2014 and issued its self-titled debut album in October 2015. Their follow-up, Broken Machine, arrived in September 2017, received wide acclaim and peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. In October 2018, Nothing But Thieves released the EP What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way?.
The band’s third studio album, Moral Panic, followed in October 2020. It was expanded in July 2021 with Moral Panic II, an EP described as the album’s second part. Across their releases, Nothing But Thieves have been compared with artists including Jeff Buckley, Foals, Civil Twilight, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood and Muse.
