Matt Maltese
Matt Maltese emerged with the 2015 debut single “Even If It’s a Lie,” beginning a songwriting career built around indie pop, indie rock and chamber-pop arrangements. Born Matthew Jonathan Gordon Maltese on 6 October 1995, he is a British-Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer from Reading, United Kingdom.
Maltese has released five studio albums, a cover album and several EPs since his debut. His third studio album, Good Morning It’s Now Tomorrow, arrived in October 2021 through Nettwerk. He followed it with his fourth studio album, Driving Just to Drive, in April 2023. Across his work, Maltese has combined singer-songwriter writing with pop and alternative-rock elements, while his recordings have also been associated with labels including Tonight Matthew, Play It Again Sam and Decca.
