Matroda

Matija Rodić, better known by his stage name Matroda, is a producer and DJ originally from Croatia but now based in Los Angeles. His globally recognized approach to house music, dubbed the “Matroda sound,” has built a vast following over his more than twelve years in the music industry.

Matroda's interest in house music began early in life, leading him to craft his first house beats in the early 2010s. His initial releases included "Some Strange Voices" and "Hypnotose," followed by his debut extended play, aptly named I am Matroda.

In 2020, Matroda launched Terminal Underground, a label he described in a Facebook post as "a label/collective/platform where I will help promote fresh new music. I promise I will listen to every demo personally but will only release few singles per year at first." The label has released music from Matroda and other artists like San Pacho, Truth x Lies, Dave Summit, and others.

In subsequent years, Matroda’s discography and fan base continued to expand, culminating in his recognition as the 25th producer in 2021 and the 19th producer in 2022 based on DJ support, as reported by 1001Tracklists.
