Mario Ochoa

Mario Ochoa Ortiz, known professionally as Mario Ochoa, is a Colombian DJ and producer from Medellín. He began working in music production in 2000, developing a profile centered on house and tech house while also moving into other electronic dance music styles.

According to Discogs, Ochoa later became based in Toronto, Canada. In 2006 he launched his own record label, Avenue Recordings, adding label work to his activities as a DJ and producer.

Ochoa’s music is commonly described in terms of house and tech house, including Latin tech house. He has also been associated with circuit. His recordings have appeared on a range of electronic labels, including Avenue Recordings, Tronic, HILOMATIK, Terminal M, and Wiggle Room Records.
