Loods
Loods is the project of Australian producer Elliot Struck, raised in Newcastle, New South Wales, the industrial coastal city known locally as the Steel City. His dance records move through disco, lo-fi and funky house, with releases for Mall Grab’s Steel City Dance Discs as well as Running Back, Higher Ground and Club Sweat.
After relocating to London in 2018, Loods released two records on Steel City Dance Discs, played a Boiler Room set at the Southbank Centre, and contributed mixes to Rinse FM, NTS and Triple J. In 2019 he returned to Steel City Dance Discs with another EP and released “Walking Away” through Classic Music Company. The track was named Annie Mac’s Hottest Record and received regular BBC Radio 1 rotation.
