Lindstrøm

Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, known professionally as Lindstrøm, is a Norwegian music producer associated with contemporary disco and related electronic styles. Working under a name that has also appeared in a wide range of alternate spellings and aliases, he has been linked to the Norwegian “space disco” and nu-disco currents while maintaining a profile that includes production work, DJing, and multi-instrumental performance.

Lindstrøm founded the label Feedelity in 2002, a step that placed him at the center of his own recorded output and collaborations. He has often worked with fellow Norwegian producer Prins Thomas, a partnership frequently cited in connection with his broader body of work. Alongside releases under the Lindstrøm name, he has also used other monikers, including Slow Supreme, Six Cups Of Rebel, Maria Suntan, and Randaberg Ego Ensemble.

In 2007, Lindstrøm contributed to the long-running Late Night Tales series, releasing a DJ mix album on Azuli Records on 9 July 2007. The following year brought formal recognition in Norway when he won the Spellemannsprisen in 2008 for the album Where You Go I Go Too. His recorded work has appeared in connection with labels including Feedelity, Rekids, and Potion Records, reflecting activity both through his own imprint and through external outlets.

Originally from the Stavanger area in southwestern Norway, Lindstrøm has been described as a multi-instrumentalist, with credits that include drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards, in addition to his roles as writer and producer. His career has also been presented as spanning studio production and DJ performance, with his releases and mixes situating him within disco-rooted electronic music while remaining closely tied to the Norwegian scene that emerged around the 2000s.
