Len Faki
Levent Faki, known professionally as Len Faki, is a German electronic dance music producer and DJ associated with techno and minimal techno. Of Turkish descent, he has also released music under the pseudonym La Monde.
Faki has been based in Berlin since 2003, a move that placed him at the center of one of Europe’s most active techno hubs. Working as both a DJ and a producer, he has been closely linked with the city’s club-focused strain of techno, balancing functional, mix-oriented tracks with studio productions that reflect the same emphasis on rhythm and sound design.
In addition to his work under the Len Faki name, he has used a range of aliases, including La Monde, reflecting a practice common in electronic music of separating different projects and release contexts. His catalog spans releases credited to variations of his name as well as distinct monikers, and he is frequently identified simply as “Faki” in some credits.
Faki is the owner of the record label Figure, an imprint connected to his output as a producer and to his broader activity in techno. He has also been associated with the label Hardspace. His profile is rooted in the overlapping roles of DJ, producer, and label head, with Berlin serving as his base of operations since the early 2000s.
