Profile: "Legowelt is a Dutch producer who refers to his musical style as 'a hybrid form of slam jack combined with deep Chicago house, romantic ghetto technofunk and EuroHorror Soundtrack.' He started producing in the early 1990s, citing Unit Moebius as his primary influence from his hometown The Hague. The first Legowelt 12” was released by Bunker Records in 1998. In 2006, he launched his own label called Strange Life Records. In addition to producing, Legowelt has performed live worldwide.
