Kungs
Kungs is the stage name of Valentin Brunel, a French DJ, record producer and musician born on 17 December 1996. A native of Toulon, he broke through internationally in 2016 with “This Girl,” his collaboration with Australian soul trio Cookin’ on 3 Burners.
“This Girl” led into a run of follow-up singles that included “Don’t You Know,” featuring British singer Jamie N Commons, and “I Feel So Bad,” featuring Ephemerals. Later that year, Kungs released his debut album, Layers. His work moves through house, dance and pop-focused electronic music, with releases connected to labels including Island Def Jam, Polydor France, Columbia Local and Def Jam Recordings.
