Kraak & Smaak
Kraak & Smaak are a musical production trio from Leiden, Netherlands, made up of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug. Working across electronic music, funk, dance, house, nu disco and indie soul, the group began recording together in 2003.
The trio released its debut album, Boogie Angst, in the UK in 2006. The record's arrival led to festival and club performances in both the United States and the United Kingdom, while Kraak & Smaak's music also reached radio and television placements. Their second album, Plastic People, followed in 2008, and the group received an EBBA.
In 2011, Kraak & Smaak released their third album, Electric Hustle. Across their work, the trio has connected electronic production with funk-rooted rhythms and dancefloor-focused songwriting.
