Kornél Kovács
Kornél Kovács is a Swedish-Hungarian DJ and producer based in Stockholm, Sweden, associated with float house, lo-fi house, and Swedish electronic and house music. He is also known under a range of aliases and name variants, including KOKO and KK, as well as spellings such as Kornel Kovacs and Kornel Kovach.
In 2009, Kovács co-founded the Swedish label Studio Barnhus with Axel Boman and Petter Nordkvist. Alongside his work as a producer and DJ, the label’s founding places him within a Stockholm-centered network of electronic music activity that has included both releases and label operations.
His recorded output has appeared via labels including Luaka Bop and Fever World Songs AB, with distribution handled exclusively by Amuseio AB. Across these releases and projects, he is commonly linked to house-adjacent styles that emphasize a lighter, lo-fi-leaning approach, reflected in genre tags such as float house and lo-fi house.
