Khemmis is an American "doomed heavy metal band" from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2012. Their music blends doom and traditional heavy metal with elements of death and black metal. The band released their initial two studio albums, Absolution and Hunted, through the independent label 20 Buck Spin. Their third album, Desolation, and the subsequent mini-LP, Doomed Heavy Metal, were licensed for all territories outside of North America by Nuclear Blast and co-released with 20 Buck Spin. In November 2021, they released their worldwide debut record Deceiver with Nuclear Blast. In April 2023, the band released a new 7" EP titled Where The Cold Wind Blows.
