John Paul Cooper, better known as JP Cooper, is an English singer-songwriter who was born in 1983 in Middleton, England.

He is best known for his feature on Jonas Blue’s track, “Perfect Strangers,” which gained worldwide popularity and went platinum in the UK.

Cooper began his career by releasing three self-released EPs, later signing with Island Records and releasing the EPs, Keep the Quiet Out and When the Darkness Comes.

In September 2016, Cooper released “September Song,” which became his first song to enter the top 10 in the UK. This track was later included in Cooper’s debut studio album, Raised Under Grey Skies.
