James Hype
James Hype, whose real name is James Edward Lee Marsland, is a DJ, producer, and remixer hailing from Northern England.
He gained recognition for his track “More than Friends,” released by Warner Music on 7 July 2017, which peaked at number 8 on the UK Top 40 and secured the number 1 spot on the UK Dance Singles Chart. Another notable release is “Ferrari” with Miggy Dela Rosa, launched by Island Records and The Cross Records on 15 March 2022, which climbed to number 6 on the UK Top 40 and number 4 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.
Prior to his chart success, James established a reputation by creating remixes for international artists such as OT Genasis and Clean Bandit. He also serves as a DJ ambassador for Pioneer DJ, appearing in their online videos.
