Ian Pooley
Ian Pooley is a German DJ and record producer whose house records often draw on samples from a range of musical sources, with Brazilian influences running through much of his work. Born Ian Pinnekamp in 1973, he has also worked under aliases including Quiet Daze, Ansicht and The Low Frequency Band.
Pooley's music is commonly associated with house, French house and tech house. His UK chart run between 1999 and 2002 included eight Top 100 hits, among them “900 Degrees,” “Piha” and “Balmes (A Better Life),” a collaboration with Esthero.
