High Contrast is the stage name of Welsh drum and bass producer and DJ Lincoln Barrett. Born in Penarth on 18 September 1979, Barrett has worked across drum and bass, jungle and liquid funk under the High Contrast name.
His 2009 album Confidential received BPI gold certification in the UK, recognising 100,000 units sold. His releases have appeared through labels including Highly Contrasting, XL Recordings and Southern Fried Records.
