Hardfloor
Hardfloor are a German electronic music duo made up of Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker, best known for “Acperience 1,” often shortened to “Acperience” on compilation albums. The track was selected by Feargal Sharkey as one of his Inheritance Tracks during an interview for BBC Radio 4.
Formed in 1991, the Köln duo became closely associated with acid house through their detailed command of the Roland TB-303 bass synthesiser. Their productions have used as many as six TB-303s at once, including heavily modified machines, giving their records a dense, highly worked acid sound.
Hardfloor reached the UK charts with “Hardtrance Acperience” in 1992, followed by “Trancescript” in 1993 and a remix of “Acperience” in 1997. Their 1996 album Home Run peaked at թիվ 68 on the UK Albums Chart.
