Regarded by many as one of the greatest singers of all time, Frank Sinatra is undeniably a music legend. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1915, his music remains significant and appreciated today, despite his passing in 1998.

Sinatra developed an interest in music early on and began singing shortly after. His uncle gifted him a ukulele for his fifteenth birthday, and he started playing at family events. During his time at Demarest High School in Demarest, New Jersey, he organized bands for school dances.

As a teenager in the 1930s, Sinatra began singing professionally, even though he couldn't read music. At 20, his mother persuaded him to join a local singing group. They gained success after winning a talent show hosted by Edward Bowes, earning a six-month contract to perform on stage and radio across the U.S.

Sinatra released his solo debut in March 1946, titled The Voice of Frank Sinatra. He proceeded to release sixty-one more albums, including some live renditions of his popular songs.

Throughout his career, Sinatra enchanted millions. His jazz-influenced sound has left an indelible mark on the world that no new artist can erase.
