Falling in Reverse emerged from Las Vegas in 2008 under the name From Behind These Walls before quickly adopting its current name. Founded by vocalist Ronnie Radke, the band has worked through numerous lineup changes, leaving Radke as its only remaining original member. The current lineup also includes guitarists Christian Thompson and Marc Okubo, bassist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz, and drummer Luke Holland.

Signed to Epitaph Records, Falling in Reverse introduced its blend of post-hardcore, metalcore, pop punk, alternative metal and rap metal on its 2011 debut, The Drug in Me Is You. The album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 19 after selling 18,000 copies in its first week, and the RIAA certified it gold in December 2019. Its songs paired heavy guitar-driven arrangements with Radke’s shifting delivery, moving between melodic vocals, screams and rap-influenced passages.

The group followed with Fashionably Late in 2013, which reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200. Its third studio album, Just Like You, arrived in February 2015, followed by Coming Home in 2017. Over those releases, Falling in Reverse continued to move between hard rock, electronic elements, melodic hooks and heavier post-hardcore material rather than staying within a single style.

In 2024, the band released its fifth studio album, Popular Monster. Across more than a decade of releases, Falling in Reverse has remained centered on Radke’s songwriting and vocal presence while its membership has changed around him.
