Eve
Eve is a Japanese singer-songwriter and Vocaloid producer who entered the music industry through cover performances of popular songs on Niconico. Born on 23 May 1995, he later developed his own work through Harapeco Records, his independently owned label, beginning with the debut album Wonder Word. His music draws reported influence from pop culture, including films, while moving between singer-songwriter writing, Vocaloid production, rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B elements.
In 2019, Eve signed with Toy's Factory, marking a move from Harapeco Records. He has also appeared as a guest on Tokyo FM's School of Lock!. Alongside his releases, his songs have become closely tied to anime projects. “Dark Night” (闇夜) was used for Dororo, while “Kaikai Kitan” (廻廻奇譚, “Round Round Mysterious Story”) served as the theme song for Jujutsu Kaisen. “Ao No Waltz” (蒼のワルツ, “Blue Waltz”) appeared in Josee, the Tiger and the Fish.
His later anime themes include “Fight Song” for Chainsaw Man, “Bokurano” (ぼくらの, “Our”) for My Hero Academia, “Teenage Blue” for Blue Box, and “Kaze no Anthem” (風のアンセム, “Anthem of Wind”) for Witch Hat Atelier. Through these songs, Eve has maintained a parallel presence in online music culture, Vocaloid-adjacent production and major anime soundtracks.
