Domenique Dumont began in 2013 as a collaboration between Latvian multi-instrumentalist and producer Artūrs Liepiņš, vocalist and ethnomusicologist Anete Stuce, and "an enigmatic artist from France whose existence can neither be confirmed nor denied.”

Dumont’s music resists easy categorization, drawing from a base of buoyant sambas, bossa nova undertones, and cinematic experimental pop. The Latvian duo’s project represents a heartfelt modernization of breezy dreaminess in its unique style.

Their debut album “Comme Ça” was released in the summer of 2015, followed by the 2018 release “Miniatures de Auto Rhythm”, both under the French label Antinote. In 2020, the group released “People On Sunday” after signing with The Leaf Label.
