D. Tiffany
Sophie Sweetland, known professionally as D. Tiffany, is a Canadian DJ and electronic musician associated with lo-fi house, breakbeat, and acid house. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, she is known for her electronic music and for founding the underground label Planet Euphorique.
Working under the D. Tiffany name, Sweetland has released solo material as well as collaborative projects. Her collaborations include releases with Roza Terenzi and Nite Fleit, alongside her own EPs and albums. She has also used a range of aliases, including Sophie Sweetland, Xophie Xweetland, DJ Zozi, D. Tiff, and D.Tiffany.
Sweetland’s recorded output has appeared on a variety of independent electronic labels, reflecting her place within contemporary club and underground dance music networks. Her work is commonly linked to club-focused styles that draw on house and acid traditions while also incorporating breakbeat and lo-fi approaches.
