Cigarettes After Sex is an ambient/dream pop band fronted by songwriter Greg Gonzalez. The group originated in El Paso, Texas, in 2008 and is now situated in Brooklyn, NY. Greg Gonzalez mentions, "My favorite thing that people say is that the music helps them, if they have sleep anxiety. It’s like music therapy." He aspires for their music to transport listeners to new places, creating experiences as if they lived them firsthand.
