Cherry Glazerr
Cherry Glazerr's sound has moved from the lo-fi garage rock of its 2014 debut Haxel Princess toward a more polished strain of rock that draws on grunge, punk and new wave. Formed in Los Angeles in 2013, the band is led by guitarist and vocalist Clementine Creevy.
After Haxel Princess, Cherry Glazerr developed that heavier, sharper approach on later albums including Apocalipstick and Stuffed & Ready. The group's fourth studio album, I Don't Want You Anymore, arrived through Secretly Canadian on September 29, 2023.
The current lineup pairs Creevy with bassist Sami Perez, synth player Luke Macdonald and drummer Nick Pillot. Earlier members of the Los Angeles group have included Devin O'Brien, Tabor Allen, Sophia Muller, Hannah Uribe, Sean Redman and Sasami Ashworth.
