boygenius

boygenius is a supergroup created in 2018 by American alt-rock singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus.

Their first release was on October 26, 2018: a self-titled EP featuring six tracks, all composed within a four-day period.

Five years later, on March 31, 2023, boygenius launched their debut album, called the record. The album included five singles: “$20,” “Emily I’m Sorry,” “True Blue,” “Not Strong Enough,” and “Cool About It,” along with a short film for the record.

Their third project was their second EP, the rest, which came out nearly seven months after their debut album, on October 13, 2023.
