Block & Crown

Block & Crown is a Dutch electronic music duo associated with jackin’ house. The project is based in Amsterdam and is formed by Adri Blok and Mitchel Kroon. The name is also written in several variants, including Block + Crown, Block And Crown, and Block+Crown, and the duo is sometimes credited in abbreviated form as B & C or B&C.

Working within house music’s club-oriented tradition, Block & Crown’s output sits in the jackin’ house lane, a style that draws on the swing and sampling sensibilities of earlier disco and funk-rooted dance records while keeping a modern, DJ-focused structure. As a duo, they are primarily known for studio productions and releases circulated through dance labels rather than as a band format, and their catalog is credited consistently to the Block & Crown name across its alternate spellings.

The duo’s releases have appeared on a range of imprints tied to contemporary house and DJ culture, including Supercircus Records, Booth Busters, Mastermix Records, Dark Mondays, and Save The Nightlife.
