BCee, the drum and bass producer Steve Jefroy, founded Spearhead Records in 2005 and has released his albums through the label. He began DJing in 1995, then discovered drum and bass in 2001.
Alongside Spearhead, Jefroy founded its sister label Future Retro Records and was one of the founders of Rubik Records. His fourth studio album, Northpoint, arrived in 2017, built around liquid drum and bass with warm vocal elements.
