Alan Braxe
Alan Braxe, born Alain Quême on 9 July 1971, is a French electronic musician whose work includes the trio Stardust and the French touch duo Braxe + Falcon. He is also widely known for collaborations with Fred Falke and Kris Menace.
Born in Paris, Braxe has worked across house, electro and filter-driven French house. His 2005 release The Upper Cuts collected previously released material, bringing together recordings from an earlier phase of his career.
His musical connections extend to his family: Braxe is the cousin of French electronic musician DJ Falcon, his partner in Braxe + Falcon. Under his own name and in collaborative projects, he has remained closely associated with the French electronic tradition that links club-focused house production with melodic pop instincts.
