Adrianne Lenker
Adrianne Lenker is the lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter of Big Thief, while maintaining a parallel career as a solo artist. Born July 9, 1991, she is an American musician whose work moves between intimate singer-songwriter material, indie folk and indie rock.
Lenker released the solo album Abysskiss in 2018, followed by the companion releases Songs and Instrumentals in 2020. Her 2024 album Bright Future received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Folk Album. Alongside her own recordings, she has remained central to Big Thief as its frontperson, guitarist and primary songwriter.
