ACRAZE
ACRAZE is the electronic music project of Staten Island artist Charles Duncker, who has also worked under variations of his name including Charlie Duncker and Charles Dunker. His releases move through house, tech house, bass house, electro house and pop-facing dance music.
He gained broad visibility with “Do It to It,” released through Thrive Music. The title draws attention to Cherish’s 2006 single of the same name, featuring Sean P, from the group’s debut album Unappreciated. Cherish’s original reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number three in New Zealand, while its video became a major presence on BET’s 106 & Park.
Before that release, Duncker had been developing his sound while DJing around the United States and collaborating with other emerging producers. His work has also been released through labels including Capitol Records, Paradox and Insomniac Records.
