100 gecs
100 gecs is an electronic-pop duo made up of Dylan Brady and Laura Les. Having known each other since high school, the duo was formed in 2015 and released a self-titled EP. They continued working on solo projects until Les was asked to play at the 2018 Minecraft virtual music festival Coalchella and invited Brady to join her. During this time, they produced several new tracks like "ringtone" and "money machine," which were later included in their 2019 album *1000 gecs*. The album received rave reviews from both critics and fans, leading to the duo opening for BROCKHAMPTON’s fall 2019 tour. The next year, the duo released a full-length remix companion to *1000 Gecs*, featuring remixes by A. G. Cook, Injury Reserve, GFOTY, and Fall Out Boy.
