100 gecs emerged from St. Louis with a sound that turns pop hooks, electronic distortion and abrupt stylistic collisions into compact, high-impact songs. Formed in 2015, the duo consists of Dylan Brady and Laura Les, whose music has been described as helping to define hyperpop through its chaotic but catchy blend of styles.

The pair self-released their debut album, 1000 Gecs, in 2019. Its songs moved between blown-out electronics, bubblegum melodies, glitch-heavy production and power-pop instincts, earning positive reviews. A companion remix record, 1000 Gecs and the Tree of Clues, followed in 2020, extending the debut album's material through remixes.

100 gecs released its second studio album, 10,000 Gecs, in 2023. Across their work, Brady and Les have built songs around sharp melodic writing and deliberately unruly production, moving freely between electronic music, experimental pop and hyperpop.
